I'm a 14-year-old girl who hails from Elkton, Maryland and recently moved here to Sarasota, Florida last July. I'm an artist, if you haven't noticed, and art is basically what I do and what I'm apparently good at. I've been drawing since I was about 7, but really started to pursue it at about age 7 1/2. Haha. Yea.
Sadly, I've been uninspired recently( Art Block or something...) and haven't been drawing as much as I used to, but I've been trying.
Honestly, it's what I enjoy doing. I don't know how else to explain it. I don't know how to explain -how- I do it, or why. I just... do.
It's what I do, and what I plan to do.
I hope to write my own childrens book this summer and illustrate it, and continue the series of books, then turn it into a cartoon.
My goal is to go to an art college(Either Ringling school for the Arts in Sarasota or CalArts near LA, California) then work on a cartoon. If that doesn't work, I'll do storyboard art(Basically the rough draft of cartoons) for an art company(PIXAR? Disney?), and if that doesn't work... Well, I don't want to give myself something to fall back on or do instead. That's what I want to do.
I've got high hopes. C:
